Can ya'll believe we're already on the
downslope of January? Our li'l town
still has street Xmas lights up and
burning -- good for them! Cheered me
up and depressed me at the same time
as I drove home tonight. Christmas shot by
so fast .... If the velocity of life in my
old age remains the same, we'll
be putting up a Christmas tree before
we know it. A day seems like an hour,
a week seems like a day, and a
month seems like .... Aw, nuts.

I like the new look. :-)

As for your suggestions, BJ:

Getting the pics of the 2 stores is no problem, but finding a way to share them might be.

I DO have 1 of those free YAHOO photo storage accounts, or something, I THINK, so maybe posting a link to the photos would be a good start. And a good excuse for actually learning to use the account. :-)

Measuring for drapes & such

I tweaked this template a little to make it easier to read. I think it will work as a base design...now I need to find some stuff to tart it up.

Great work! Now hop on your trusty steed and get a photo or two of the shop near you. Talk to the owner if possible... get an interview!

> 1 in my own back yard that was born in 1909

A very good year. My Pappy was born that year.
Now, if only I could break the code for all the
things he told me ....

Well, it's been a busy evening.

I was scrounging around for some links to bicycle shops online. I wanted ones, for my blog, that have been in existence since before 1940 & since cycling has been around since 1817, ones before 1911 would be great. :-)

I struck pay dirt, including 1 in my own back yard that was born in 1909. :-)

I want to promote those shops, especially since they are not in the same class as the so-called Pro Shops & chains.

While doing this I found another site related to cycling resources that I posted my link under the ROAD CYCLING category of their directory, AND became one of the first contributers to their new message forum. :-)

It will be interesting to see the reaction and responses I get.

While there ARE other Cycling Blogs out there, I believe I'm the first to totally devote itself to more than just "look at me! I rode 20 miles, today, and this is how fast I went" entries.

Issues, news, fiction, & resources are important, & so far I've found no other blogs doing it, especially as a package. :-)

Beware of speed bumps

I have to insert some code to make the titles appear. Very stupid, you would think that if you check off the "titles on" in the settings that it would enable the stoopid title. DOH!

For some reason the archives are not uploading to the correct directory even though the path is right, remember we are not on blogspot now. I will do some work on this tomorrow.

You are prolly signed into blogger as Sneakeasy? if so that's the default cuz you are an admin on this site. I will uncheck the admin and let's see if you return to your TSMS membership name = Kiril.
